Jeff grew up in New Jersey and had the privilege of working for three home state members of Congress: Reps. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-NJ-11), Jon Runyan (R-NJ-3), and Tom MacArthur (R-NJ-3). He served in various legislative and communications capacities, including as Legislative Director, allowing him to learn all angles of a Congressional office. During his 10 years on Capitol Hill, Jeff ran as the point person for Committees that included the Committees on Appropriations, Armed Services, Financial Services, and Natural Resources. His experience allowed him to collect a wide range of victories, including helping secure funding for victims of Hurricane Sandy, securing funding and missions for a major military installation, and negotiating key provisions in the reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program.
Jeff also had the privilege of serving as the Policy Director for the House Committee on Small Business under Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX).
Most recently, Jeff dedicated 8 years of his career to working for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). He quarterbacked NFIB’s most significant legislative victories, including making the 20% small business tax deduction permanent and exempting American-owned small businesses from beneficial ownership information reporting, both of which were accomplished in 2025. Jeff also managed NFIB’s Federal Political Action Committee (PAC), one of the leading business PACs in Washington, D.C.
Jeff has been featured in a variety of national media outlets, including the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, has made appearances on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, and has been a contributor to nationally syndicated radio programs.
